Clear choices.
A little more clarity.

What stays on your device.

Reading lists, planning notes, the preview shopping bag, learning questions and editing drafts can be saved in this browser’s local storage. These features do not create an account or send those saved entries to the Alliance. Avoid putting sensitive information in a demo.

Messages, memberships and purchases.

The contact tool prepares a message in your own email app. You decide whether to send it. Payments, memberships, donations and mailing-list subscriptions are not processed by this preview. Links to official services take you to their own websites and policies.

Video and external resources.

Trail videos load an embedded YouTube player only after you choose Play. YouTube and other external services handle information under their own policies. PDFs imported into the field library open from this demo; the original publisher link remains available.

Analytics and hosting.

No advertising trackers or analytics scripts have been added to this demo. The hosting service may retain routine access and security logs. A production site would need an owner-approved privacy notice and the agreed service configuration.

Your local controls.

Use the clear/reset options in the planner and editor, remove stars from your reading list, or clear this site’s browser storage to remove saved preview data.

A trail everyone can explore.

This preview includes keyboard-operable controls, visible focus states, labelled form fields, skip links, reduced-motion support and responsive layouts. The interactive map also offers a complete text-list alternative.

A more comfortable visit.

Use your device’s reduced-motion setting to limit movement. Resize text with your browser’s zoom controls. Choose “Read as a list” on the map to explore the stories without travelling through the animated scene.

The work still required.

This demo has not been certified against WCAG 2.2 AA. Production acceptance must include contrast checks, keyboard and screen-reader testing, media alternatives, form and checkout testing, and review of the imported document collection.
